2013 was a bit of a year - it saw the opening of eyes, it provided the juices that have fuelled change.
First off there was the complete betrayal of me/us by the corporate monster that is the University of South Wales. I’ve written about that loads here all of which will be collected into some kind of understandable order and published here.
Then there was the nakedness in the heat that never stopped. The 24 hours naked, the nudist beach party, the walk up Pen y Fan, the move to France and life on the beach. My return to Wales was as a tanned, beyond tanned, adonis figure. Comparatively.
As autumn drew in and the full horror of the Snowdon revelations became apparent I unravelled my internet presence and now have a reduced but sharpened public/pubic profile. My phone has a faraday cage and blue tac covers the cameras on phone and laptop…
As a group we triumphed with more work and more models than ever before and with NO no shows. Achievement or what, with models and tutors and artists all happy bunnies.
And as the year closed I embarked on a flurry of activity, re-building the website from scratch and adding new features such as a shop, galleries and a forum. All designed to combat the loss of contact and engagement caused by the mothballing of our facebook page. I mean, facebook is evil, isn’t it?
2014 will bring with it, now that we have consolidated our position as the life model group of choice for all of the colleges in South Wales, innovation and the professionalising of our models. We are running regular training sessions which are peer developed and led. And for innovation, you’ll have to wait and see what delights are conjured up by the resourceful and imaginative bunch that we have getting naked for you on oh so a regular basis.
Happy New Year! And see you soon. Sessions start again week commencing 13th January 2014.
